Pol Ruiz Ramon is a young musician born in Barcelona in 2009 who has published his first EP, ‘300 new species’, on October 8, 2025, breaking into the Catalan music scene with a fresh, vitalist and full of personality at only 16 years old. The EP has been produced by Pol Ruiz himself and Marc Mateu (White Pèrill, former Red Pèrill), who also collaborates with voices, keyboards, rhythms and synthesizers, all providing a modern sound rich in nuances. The five songs that make up the album draw from references such as Manel or the more electronic side of Antonia Font, with sticky refrains and lyrics that connect with the audience as young as adult.
