Thelee is an audiovisual project that seeks to claim and update Big Beat – the British dance electronica that conquered the world in the mid-90s – musically, visually and conceptually; recovering the television imagination of the decade. With clear influences from Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Justice or The Prodigy and through synthesizers, loops, guitars and breaks; the duo invites the public to an experience loaded with visual and sound power. Together with the multimedia content projected by several stacks of analog televisions synchronized with the music, they expand their aesthetic and conceptual universe. In 2021 they released their first EP ‘Visions’ (Basement Records) and will soon present more singles from their new work which will be released in 2025.
