Ölivias is a duo formed by Clàudia Balletbó (vocals) and Isabel Archs (piano violin) who patiently untie the knots in the throat through their experimental sound of voice and four strings. Born in 2020 as a conceptual music initiative, they address their concerns through two twin works ‘Antich Ventura’ (2021) and ‘Clamare’ (2022) that worship death and mourning. With ‘Que baixi el cel’ (2024), their first full-length album, they approach death as an unexpected ceremony that celebrates the archetype of change and transformation.
